Exfoliate Cold, dry air in the wintertime can zap all the moisture right out of your skin, leaving it feeling rough, flakey, and itchy. Using a gentle exfoliating wash a couple times a week can help keep the rough layer of dead, dry cells from building up and flaking off. This will give you fresh, lovely skin to lavish with rich moisture. Amp up your moisturizer Once you have a smooth, clean surface unveiled from your gentle exfoliation, it’s vital to apply moisturizer to hydrate your skin. During the winter, it’s a good idea to use a more intensive moisturize lotion or cream to make sure that your skin is getting nourished and protected.
